Our games

One game in the oven. A few more locked in the lab, for everyone's safety.

A grumpy boulder head being pushed up a mountain by two bean-shaped movers, while a third one tumbles down the slope HURRY UP!

Boulder Heads!

You work for the cheapest moving company in the mountains. Today's customer is a giant boulder head, and it wants to go home, all the way up at the summit. There are no checkpoints on the slopes. Let go, and it rolls right back down.

  • Push, brace and wedge your way up together
  • The Blame Cam replays every disaster and names the culprit
  • Crew money for gear, your own pay for questionable outfits
  • Play solo, or bring up to 3 friends

Project Redacted

So secret we blacked out the name on our own website. Nobody remembers what it said.

Unlocks: when someone finds the password. It was on a sticky note. The sticky note is gone.

The One We Don't Talk About

Our lawyer told us not to say anything about this one. We don't have a lawyer, but it sounded like good advice.

Unlocks: once Boulder Heads! ships, and not one minute before. We've been told to stop asking.

Friendslop, made with love

Friendslop is our favorite kind of game: goofy online co-op that gets a hundred times better the moment your friends join. Think R.E.P.O., PEAK, Lethal Company and R.V. There Yet?

That's what Active Meltdown makes. Easy to pick up, hard to finish, and full of moments your group chat will bring up for years. Most of our games are pure chaos, but now and then we'll make something serious, with the same bright, chunky style.

  • Better with friends

Built for online co-op first. Grab a lobby, get on voice chat, start arguing.

  • Fun to fail

Wobbly physics, shared fate and someone to blame. The best stories come from things going wrong.

  • Bright and chunky

Stylized, colorful worlds with simple, readable shapes. Never realistic, always fun to watch fall apart.

  • Small team, big mess

Two developers making the games we want to play with our own friends, and the odd serious one too.
